Friends of Colorado Avalanche Information Center Announce 8th Annual Benefit Bash

The Friends of the Colorado Avalanche Information Center (FoCAIC) are proud to host the eighth annual Colorado Avalanche Information Center (CAIC) Benefit Bash, on Saturday, November 14, 2015, at the Riverwalk Center in Breckenridge. Mountain enthusiasts are invited to rally together and support the CAIC in their continued efforts of avalanche forecasting and education throughout Colorado. This winter kick-off party features live music from Missed the Boat and incredible beer from Colorado’s own, New Belgium Brewery. Don’t miss out on the benefit’s massive silent & live auctions, thousands of dollars worth of door prizes and giveaways.
"With winter ramping up, it is important that the CAIC continues to receive support so it can provide valuable information for those venturing into the backcountry," comments Aaron Carlson, executive director for the Friends of the CAIC. "The Benefit Bash continues to be our most critical fundraising event. It wouldn't be possible without the support of our 125+ sponsors as well as the 1200 guests and 55 volunteers. It is truly amazing to see the community come together to support our avalanche center.”
Tickets are available for pre-purchase for $40 at www.friendsofcaic.org. Get your tickets in advance as this event sells out every year. Entrance fee includes one door prize ticket, two beer tickets, dinner, access to the silent auction and live music by Missed The Boat.
The FoCAIC is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization created to support the CAIC, while contributing to avalanche awareness and education throughout the state of Colorado. The CAIC achieves this mission through donations, grants and fundraising events.
