LOVE GOODLY’s toxin-free eco lifestyle subscription box to benefit FCancer, Farm Sanctuary

LOS ANGELES – August 25, 2015 – Expert eco entrepreneurs Justine Lassoff and Katie Bogue Miller formerly of LovingEco, today announced the launch of their newest business venture — LOVE GOODLY — a Web and mobile shopping platform for discovering trusted healthy, eco products that give back to good causes. The company is funded by influential investor and Machinima Chairman Allen DeBevoise and will sell subscription boxes of nontoxic beauty and skincare products, wellness, healthy snacks and eco style accessories for $35 every other month.

“Katie and I developed our second project, LOVE GOODLY, with a simple idea — you can vote with your wallet for more conscious brands. As advocates of healthy lifestyles and giving back, we created LOVE GOODLY — putting a twist on the business of ‘feeling good’ by combining lifestyle subscription boxes and social consciousness,” said cofounder Justine Lassoff.

Lassoff and Bogue Miller were founding team members of LovingEco, an eco Gilt model that was acquired one year after it launched in 2011.

Each LOVE GOODLY box includes five to seven carefully sourced products from companies such as Go Raw, LVX, SW Basics, Hurraw!, RMS Beauty, Dogeared Jewelry and ALOHA, donating a portion of proceeds to charitable causes. Customers will be able to earn rewards and deals online by reviewing products on www.lovegoodly.com and shopping for their favorite, full sized items.

LOVE GOODLY carefully selects brands and labels them with 12 value icons, such as gluten-free and organic, so it's easy to shop by need. Skincare and beauty products are vegan and cruelty-free and all products are reviewed to ensure they are toxin free. The company additionally selects style accessories and home products with a range of attributes from fair trade made by workers and artisans around the world by supporting fair wages to companies using more natural, organic or recycled materials.

“With each purchase, we support a cause with Farm Sanctuary supporting compassionate living to FCancer supporting early detection. LOVE GOODLY wants our customers to enjoy the surprise of each box, curated with love and delivered to their doorstep, so they can discover and support brands that will have a positive impact on the world,” said Bogue Miller, cofounder.

LOVE GOODLY will also create two specialty collaboration boxes — a FCancer box focused on nontoxic personal care products and a holiday box in partnership with Novica, the fair trade artisan marketplace backed by National Geographic, so customers can give a gift that also gives back.  Year-round, shoppers can gift a single box with free U.S. shipping, or a three or six box subscription.

Allen DeBevoise, Machinima chairman, joins LOVE GOODLY as an investor. ““I really like the concept, the company, the cause and the founders as key drivers of what will be a double win — a financial win as well as doing something positive,” DeBevoise said.

Other notable team members include founding CTO Payam Zarabi who is also cofounder of Daily Look, the online fashion retailer funded by Upfront Ventures and Rachel Zoe.

Trial boxes are available for purchase for $35 every other month.  Customers can also sign up for a six-month subscription for $99 that includes three boxes or a yearly subscription for $180 that includes six boxes. For more pricing and subscription options visit www.lovegoodly.com.
