Lander, WY - On Saturday, Sept. 12 Lander hosts its annual "Wings and Wheels" event. Festivities include a Fly-In, Car Show and Airshow at Hunt Field Airport. Events go from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Start the day with a pancake breakfast served by Kiwanis. Lunch will be served by Rotary International. There will be tethered hot air balloon rides, bush pilot competitions, RC quadcopter demonstrations, as well as three aerobatic events. Souvenirs will be available. There are special awards for the Car Show participants. Scenic flights and RC quadcopters rides will be raffled off.

Adventurous Young Eagles (ages 8-18) can sign up for flights on Saturday, then take to the skies on Sunday. Young Eagles sign-up available until maximum participation is reached. 8am - 2pm. FREE - but donations welcomed.

Three aerobatic pilots will perform with their favorite planes: Brad Wursten, Danny Sorensen, and Todd Therp.
