“We understand and appreciate the importance of providing travel agents the opportunity to explore Calabash Cove and the island of Saint Lucia,” stated Konrad Wagner, General Manager of Calabash Cove Resort & Spa, “It is essential for travel partners to experience a hotel and the destination in order to effectively make a recommendation to a client.”

Calabash Cove has been committed to travel agents since opening in 2009. The relaxing resort thrives on continuously improving its incentives and rewards for travel agents. In addition to the new, year-round travel agent rates, agents enrolled in Calabash Cove’s Resort Rewards program have access to sales and marketing support tools and resources, on-demand webinars, special offers, and are able to earn rewards in addition to commissions. Cash rewards are accumulated in credits redeemable at Amazon.com. Agents earn $25 for booking a 6-night stay in a Sunset Ocean View Suite, $50 for a Swim-Up Suite, and $75 for a Water’s Edge Cottage. Travel agents earn a $50 bonus when they first register at www.CalabashCoveRewards.com.

The Saint Lucia Tourist Board (SLTB), airlines and local hotels coordinate Saint Lucia Agent Months (SLAM). The promotion, which runs through November 30, 2015, includes booking incentives and special rates on accommodations, airport transfers, tours, and attractions. Special airfares are available from American Airlines, Air Canada Vacations and WestJet. For details, contact the Saint Lucia Tourism Board.
