New menu launches in conjunction with Tiki Tuesdays, a weekly event featuring live island music on its rooftop patio

KANSAS CITY, MO. (July 9, 2015) – The Well Bar Grill & Rooftop invites Kansas Citians to escape the summer heat for a taste of the tropics with its new tiki-inspired cocktail menu featuring a lineup of handcrafted rum and tequila-centric drinks. The menu includes a refreshing take on the Mai Tai served off the tap in a pineapple, a signature rum punch and The Well’s most unique tiki drink, a twist on the piña colada served in a coconut shell.

According to a May 2015 Restaurant Hospitality articlethe resurgence of tiki-themed bars and restaurants is due to next-generation tiki libations that amp up the classics. “As a result, tiki drinks are spreading beyond their dedicated strongholds to influence the bar menus of all sorts of establishments,” the article reads.

The new cocktail menu launches in conjunction with Tiki Tuesdays, a weekly event highlighting the tropical cocktails. Inspired by The Well’s rooftop patio – one of the largest in Kansas City – which is lined with tiki torches, Tiki Tuesdays will also feature live island music from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Tiki cocktails are available all day every day throughout the entire restaurant as follows:

Tai Trolley Trail, $8

Cruzan Blackstrap Rum, Combier Triple Sec, pineapple juice, almond (served in a pineapple)

Beachbum Colada, $12
