June 23, 2015 (CONCORD, Mass.) – Vibram®, the worldwide leader in high performance soles, FiveFingers® and premium golf discs, is pleased to announce two new hires on its sales and marketing team to support the brand’s continued growth. Michael O’Brien and Lindsay Chapman, both former employees of Vibram, have rejoined the brand in new managing roles.

“The progression that we are seeing across all our product categories has contributed to a very dynamic atmosphere at Vibram,” explains Chris Melton, sales director of the Americas at Vibram. “With this momentum, we are excited to bring back two strong players to bolster our team and help us achieve even more success.”

Vibram welcomes back Michael O’Brien as eCommerce/digital marketing manager. Most recently, O’Brien worked at Planet Fitness as the director of brand management. Before Planet Fitness, O’Brien worked for over two years at Vibram, both as a senior retail marketing associate and as the marketing manager. In his new role with Vibram, O’Brien will be responsible for all website, eCommerce and database initiatives with a focus on channel strategy that develops direct-to-consumer engagement.

Additionally, Lindsay Chapman will be rejoining Vibram as a key account manager for Vibram’s finished goods business unit. Previously, Chapman worked in customer service at Vibram for over five years. Chapman rejoins the brand to take on a larger, more focused role within key accounts, and offers extensive knowledge of the outdoor space including big box, e-comm chain stores as well as outdoor specialty retailers.

“We are excited to welcome back both Michael and Lindsay to the Vibram family,” states Allon Cohne, chief marketing officer of Vibram USA. "We continue to invest in the people and processes needed to drive our business forward and achieve our key objectives.”
