MEDIA ADVISORY: PHOTO & VIDEO OPPORTUNITY & INTERVIEWS

WHEN:           Friday, May 29, 2015 from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

WHAT:           Kimball Art Center is debuting a new set of exhibits under the theme of “place” and “You Are Here.” These three exhibits are meant to question misconceptions, perceptions, memories and interpretations of place. These are the final exhibits to be featured at the current location before the Center moves to their new temporary space this fall. Exhibits include:

·      “You Are Here” by Svavar Jonatansson and Jared Steffensen

·      “NewLand” by Faith Hagenhofer

·      “Posterity and Parks” by Doug Leen 

The Center will hold an opening celebration for these new exhibits with a media and members only preview preceding the event open to the community. Schedule:           

5:30 p.m. – Media and members only preview

6:30 p.m. – Community opening 

8:00 p.m. – Closing
