Trail Runner Magazine Editors’ Choice and Triathlete Magazine Best in Class Awarded to HOKA ONE ONE

Richmond, Calif. (May 26, 2015) — HOKA ONE ONE® (a division of Deckers Brands NYSE: DECK), is pleased to announce it has received the Trail Runner Magazine Editors’ Choice and Triathlete Magazine Best in Class awards for the Challenger ATR. Released in March, the Challenger ATR combines lightweight stability with exceptional traction in a versatile shoe for use across all terrain. Visit www.hokaoneone.com to find a retailer near you.

According to Triathlete, the Challenger ATR “is fairly nimble and quite stable for such a well-cushioned trail shoe,” while Trail Runner applauds the “agility on technical trails and the traction of the outsole’s rubber lugs on dry dirt as well as mud and snow.”

A go-to shoe for runners who enjoy time on and off the trails, the Challenger ATR features the lightweight, smooth-riding characteristics of the award-winning Clifton shoe combined with a more aggressive outsole and increased stability. The Challenger ATR weighs in at 8.6 ounces for a men’s size 9 and retails for $130.

“We are excited that HOKA continues to gain momentum with all types of runners, and to see the Challenger ATR receive such a great reception in the marketplace,” says Jim Van Dine, brand president of HOKA ONE ONE. “The Challenger ATR’s unique combination of lightweight cushioning and traction make it one of our most popular trail shoes and we are honored to have it recognized by Trail Runner and Triathlete as a stand-out product.”
