The Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance welcomes to the team Tara Mitchell, Economic Development Manager.

As economic development manager, Tara provides project management and analytical support to LVGEA’s economic development team and serves as a liaison to public private and non-profit organizations for business attraction, creation, expansion and retention activities.

“Tara has been a tremendous addition to our economic development team as we continue to expand LVGEA’s community and economic development efforts,” said Perry Ursem, Vice President of Business Retention and Expansion of the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance. “Tara has brought with her a passion for our community. I look forward to working with her as we continue to grow the organization and provide more resources to foster a more prosperous, diverse, and connected regional economy.”

 

Prior to accepting her position at the LVGEA, Tara worked with MetLife Insurance Company where she investigated auto insurance claims as an adjustor. She has experience working in residential lending for mortgage brokers and banks and is actively licensed to sell Property & Casualty Insurance in the state of Nevada and federally licensed for mortgage lending. A longtime resident of Southern Nevada, Tara has called Henderson her home since relocating from Southern California in 1992.
