Durango, Colo. (April 7, 2016)— Ska Brewing Company wins the ‘Beer and Brewing’ category in the 2016 Colorado Manufacturing Awards, presented by CompanyWeek Media and Manufacturer’s Edge. The award series recognizes Ska Brewing as a ‘game changer’ and a leader in the brewing industry.

The 2016 theme of the awards is ‘U.S. manufacturing competitiveness’ with nominees chosen for transforming their industry and building a competitive edge. Several finalists in nine industry categories were selected for rethinking how we manufacture and demonstrating why this innovation matters.

Nominations were received in November and December 2015 and Ska Brewing was up against the Boulder based finalists, Avery Brewing Company and Wild Goose Canning.

The Colorado Manufacturing Awards commends Ska Brewing for being an outstanding company that transforms the manufacturing economy. Ska Brewing was chosen for its achievement in several categories, including business performance, product, innovation, employee involvement and culture.
