Confluence Outdoor Announces Promotion and Hire in Marketing Communications to Support Business Growth

GREENVILLE, S.C. (March 10, 2016) —Confluence Outdoor announced the promotion of Evan Lyendecker to marketing director for its industry-leading watersports brands. He will oversee strategy and execution of all marketing communications for Wilderness Systems, Dagger, Adventure Technology, Perception, Mad River Canoe and Harmony Gear.

“I’m very excited to step into this new role at Confluence Outdoor. Our product lines are better than ever and continue to provide consumers with unforgettable on-water experiences,” said Lyendecker. “I’m looking forward to developing and executing new strategies to continue to evolve our market-leading brands.”

Lyendecker previously served as Confluence Outdoor’s marketing communications manager where he led strategic marketing campaigns for Wilderness Systems, Perception and Adventure Technology.

“Evan has been integral in establishing new initiatives and improving the effectiveness and success of our ongoing strategies,” said Cheri McKenzie, vice president and CMO of marketing for Confluence Outdoor. “His passion for high-impact brand marketing combined with project management leadership will be a valued asset in continuing to drive our business.” 

The transition also welcomes Ashley Galloway to Confluence Outdoor as the new marketing communications manager for Dagger, Harmony and Perception. Galloway joins Confluence Outdoor from the St. John & Partners agency where she managed several consumer brand accounts.
