– Zero-overlap Blades deliver bump-free shaving, detailing and trimming…with just one head –

STERLING, Ill. (March 5, 2016) – When it comes to grooming, African American men are looking for more—more precision, simplicity and comfort. And thanks men’s grooming leader Wahl, they’re getting it with the new corded T-Styler Pro. The latest in a complete line of grooming tools designed for the unique needs of African American men, it’s the first-ever consumer product to feature Wahl’s patented Zero-overlap Blade System that delivers a closer, more precise shave and trim without the razor bumps, and without the need to ever change the trimmer head again.

“The T-Styler Pro represents an evolution in grooming,” said Steve Yde, division vice president of marketing for Wahl. “We’ve been an industry leader in helping African American men get a clean, close facial hair trim and shave without razor bumps. Now, we’re providing an even closer bump-free trim and shave, and doing it with just one head. It’s truly the ultimate in precision, comfort and simplicity.”

Never before has there been a tool with just a single head that trims, outlines and shaves this close and precise and without the fear of razor bumps. What makes this all possible is the combination of Wahl’s patented precision-ground stainless steel blades and Zero-overlap Blade System.

While conventional blade systems are designed to prevent skin-close trimming due to a gap between blades, Wahl engineered its newest blade system to provide a skin-close trim that is both safe and protects against razor bumps, a common problem among African American men caused by ingrown hairs.

For reliable performance, the T-Styler Pro is corded and features Wahl’s most powerful motor, ensuring snag-free performance, even for tough, thick beards. It also comes with a full array of blade guards.

“With our newest addition, we’re helping African American guys take their grooming routine to the next level,” added Yde.  “This new tool will not only provide the closest shave guys can get with a trimmer, but it will cut down on grooming time without sacrificing style.”

The T-Styler Pro will be available to retailers and consumers in July 2016 with an MSRP of $34.99. The T-Styler Pro complements Wahl’s full line of grooming tools designed to meet the needs of African American men, which include the T-Pro Trimmer, Bump-free Shaver, and the Ultra Close Cut Pro Clipper. Each product features Wahl’s precision ground blades and bump prevention technology for comfort and performance.
