Perseus Realty has sold all of the luxury condominiums at its latest residential development, The Adamo, in the dynamic Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington, DC. The building’s 8,000 square feet of street-level retail space has been leased to the recently opened restaurant, Tail Up Goat, and the first East Coast location for San Francisco-based Philz Coffee.

“We are excited about The Adamo’s sell-out, demonstrating the appeal of this property’s spectacular location, design, and amenities,” said Urban Pace’s Matt Dewey. “In addition to being one of the city’s premier residences, The Adamo is destined to become the region’s next top dining destination. Tail Up Goat is the much-anticipated new concept from veterans of Komi and Little Serow, two of the city’s most highly rated and sought-after restaurants.”

Designed by PGN Architects, The Adamo enjoys a prominent corner location at the confluence of Calvert Road, Adams Mill Road, and 18th Street, with 360-degree views of the city.

Alexandria, VA-based ADG has created a vibrant interior for The Adamo, combining new and different materials with timeless design. Inspired by the eclectic neighborhood, the lobby has an art gallery feel, including custom light fixtures and vibrant glass artwork by renowned local artist Mindy Weisel.

Unit finishes include German-made hardwood floors, modern custom kitchen cabinetry from a Canadian millwork shop, quartz countertops, clear and grey glass backsplashes, and stainless steel appliances by both Bosch and KitchenAid. Bathrooms combine travertine-like porcelain tiles and textured linen tiles. Bathroom vanity cabinetry is designed to “float” on the wall.

The Adamo is located at 1794 Lanier Place, NW in Lanier Heights, one of four historic neighborhoods within Adams Morgan. The other three historic neighborhoods are Kalorama, Shaw, and Meridian Hill.

Adams Morgan is a thriving, culturally diverse destination with a wide range of ethnic and upscale restaurants, shops, and nightclubs. The neighborhood has direct access to downtown Washington via 18th Street and to areas west of Rock Creek Park, including the Woodley Park/Zoo-Adams Morgan Metrorail station, via the Calvert Street Bridge.

Perseus named the development in memory of Mark Adamo, who served as the company’s Senior Vice President of Development.
