Comedian EARLE MONROE Wants His Foreskin Reattached; GARY ANTHONY WILLIAMS Joins for Debut of New Comedy Music Video ‘FORESKIN (I WANT YOU BACK!)’

LOS ANGELES (January 19, 2016) – Comedian/Actor EARLE MONROE is crooning with loss in his new comedy music video, FORESKIN (I WANT YOU BACK!), premiering January 19th on YouTube. Actor Gary Anthony Williams (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Whose Line Is It Anyway?) joins Monroe in this hilarious modern folk song about a man missing his long-lost double-layered fold.

On his urge to create the tune, Monroe says, “Well, crass jokes about the male anatomy are kind of timeless. It became a fun challenge to write a ‘penis song’ with crude, primal laughs but that also has some nods to the challenges of male self-image in today’s world. We’re supposed to be sensitive but still be manly, and it’s a hard line to walk. I just followed my (admittedly strange) imagination on the subject, and then asked my old friend Gary Anthony Williams to come on board for the bridge. He’s got a really busy career, but is one of the most generous performers I know. His contribution adds an unexpected twist to the song that I love.”

FORESKIN (I WANT YOU BACK!) marks the second single from his debut EP, WITH ALL DUE DISRESPECT..., a collection of four quirky genre-spanning songs that feature Monroe’s distinctly offbeat brand of comedy. The recently released lead single/video, My Doublewide Heart, grabbed major attention with its lovesick good old boy’s search for his redneck dream girl, portrayed by actress Jennifer Wenger (Sharktopus vs Whalewolf, Super Power Beat Down).

WITH ALL DUE DISRESPECT is currently available for purchase/download on iTunes and Amazon, and also includes the original comedy tracks: The Ballad of the Woman with the Plumber’s Crack and Easy Peasy. The EP and videos were produced and directed by Monroe’s wife Arianna Ortiz, an actress/writer/director known for projects such as NBC’s Parenthood and The Wound.

Monroe was one of the founding members of Atlanta’s famed improv troupe Whole World Theater where he landed after graduating from Emory University. He played Nurse Ivan in the popular horror short The Wound, which was a hit on the film festival circuit and now has a growing audience online. He launches his debut EP after finally settling back into life in Los Angeles, following a long recovery from a nasty car crash that derailed his work on the comedy scene. Now that he can walk again and recognizes the value of every moment of life, he spends most of his time creating funny songs and playing them in public.

Earle Monroe is represented by Innovative Artists.
