Celebrate National Hot Pastrami Sandwich Day on January 14 at d’Bronx, Kansas City’s locally-owned New York-style Deli

d’Bronx offers the traditional and special creations the Rachel hot pastrami sandwich and Rob’s Big Deal hot pastrami sandwich January 14-17
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Jan. 12, 2016)– In addition to the traditional hot pastrami sandwiches d’Bronx offers daily, the New York-style deli will feature two special pastrami sandwiches, the Rachel and Rob’s Big Deal, at all four locations starting on National Hot Pastrami Sandwich Day on January 14 and will continue to serve them through Sunday, January 17.
d’Bronx premium pastrami is brined, coated with dry rub, smoked and then steamed at d’Bronx for two more hours in-house to ensure tenderness. d’Bronx sells nearly 5,000 lbs. of pastrami a year, rivaling most sandwich shops in the area. d’Bronx makes every pastrami sandwich with Sy Ginsberg’s Gold Label pastrami from United Meat & Deli in Ann Arbor, Michigan, founded in 1982 by Sy Ginsberg. United Meat & Deli also provides its premium meats to famous Zingerman’s Deli.
THE RACHEL: The Rachel is a variation on the Rueben. It’s a grilled sandwich made with hot pastrami, creamy coleslaw, imported Swiss and housemade Russian dressing on New York-style Rye.
ROB’S BIG DEAL: Rob’s Big deal includes hot pastrami, melted imported Swiss, coleslaw and housemade chipotle honey mustard on an onion poppy seed roll.
In addition to the Rachel and Rob’s Big Deal, d’Bronx will serve its regular pastrami offerings including the Hot Pastrami with Swiss sub sandwich and the traditional deli-style Hot Pastrami on Rye.
