Selk’bag® USA, Inc. Announces Partnership with Realtree® Licensed Products

Solana Beach, Calif. (January 6, 2016) – Selk’bag USA, Inc., the company responsible for melding the functionality of a sleeping bag into a wearable silhouette, is partnering with Realtree to launch the Selk’bag Realtree collection for Spring 2016. Since its inception, Selk’bag has been embraced by hunters and outdoorsmen alike for its versatility and performance features. This license with Realtree will allow Selk’bag to create new camouflage products specifically for the hunting market.

Selk’bag’s Realtree license includes the Xtra, Xtra Snow and Xtra Blaze camouflage patterns. These Xtra patterns use natural elements like tree trunks, limbs and a variety of leaves in their designs. Additionally, the patterns combine multidirectional layers that create an astonishing visual appearance, light and dark contrast, as well as incredible depth and 3D effects throughout.

“With the Realtree license, we are able to grow and expand the Selk’bag brand even deeper within the hunting space, and offer these camouflage patterns just in time for the summer months and hunting season,” explained Philip Benson, President of Selk’bag USA. “There has been a demand for this pattern option among many of our current dealers, and we are excited about the new dealers that will emerge for this product class.”

Realtree by Selk’bag products will be available to consumers beginning early July 2016. These will be available through select online and specialty retailers. The first phase of the line will include two Selk’bag models, the Pursuit priced at $129, and the Instinct priced at $199 MSRP. Additionally, the brand will develop a host of accessory products, such as baselayers, to be used in conjunction with the Realtree by Selk’bag models.
