Addition of Saturday will provide Kansas City diners with an all-weekend brunch option, a rare find in the metro area

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Dec. 2, 2015) – After successfully launching NOLA Sunday Brunch in mid-November, Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar expands its brunch to include Saturdays beginning Dec. 5. Jax Chef de Cuisine Theresia Ota combines Jax’s sustainable, New Orleans-inspired seafood with brunch menu staples to bring a new, unique option to Kansas City’s Saturday and Sunday brunch scene. Jax’s brunch menu consists of more than 30 items, including Jax originals Shrimp and Grits, French Toast and Blackened Catfish Benny. Jax also offers brunch cocktails with a twist, like the Grapefruit Mimosa and Strawberry Lemonade.

Jax will now offer brunch from 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday. A limited menu including the raw bar, Fried Calamari, Chicken & Crawfish Gumbo, and The Wedge will run from 2:30 to 4 p.m. At 4 p.m., daily happy hour begins and runs until 6 p.m. and Jax’s regular dinner menu becomes available.
