Completing an effectively written essay has become imperative for academic success. It is extremely important for fulfilling college applications. The number of essays is more than a dozen which often leads to a lot of confusion. But it is the four forms mentioned above that complete a copy

The essays are like a personal experience that is penned down. Here the author decides what is to be reflected in the writing. One is searching for explaining a personal desire or a concept or maybe an issue. The four formats followed in an essay do fulfil the requirements.

Narrative Essays: Narrating a Story

The word is self-explanatory, it is a narration in this kind of an essay. Telling a story is not always easy. Students find it very challenging. A vivid description is required mostly completing the copy in the first person, singular number, by using the alphabet ‘I.’ This makes the reader engage in the content as part of the story.

Descriptive Essays: Painting a Picture

Working on the same lines as the previous essay, a descriptive essay knits a story with words. The word itself is self-explanatory, it is descriptive, it provides in details a person or could be a place and many times -- its a recollection. A writer might describe a person, place, object, or even memory of special significance. The essays here have a deeper communication and are not merely a narration of a story. In a descriptive essay, the author emotes and not tells as in using the letter “I” in the first person for communicating. And the essay has a direct emotional appeal to the individual reading it.

Expository Essays: Informative write up

Entails just the facts like an information piece with a balanced analysis of the topic. Here the essay can be in a comparative format or in a contrasting format. It could be a cause and effect piece or how to complete an essay. This section can also have a definition of a process. The first person singular number is avoided here.

Persuasive Essays: Facts compiled

Here too there is nothing but presenting facts. The aim is to persuade, hence persuasive, which means to convince with the arguments. The reader begins to agree with what the writer provides as an argument because of the logic that is presented in the form of an essay to complete the work and convey his point. The author of the essay needs to present the pros and cons of the argument from all aspects. The idea is to communicate very easily and prove why the stand taken by the persuasive essay facts is correct.
