Petsonalisation - personalising luggage and accessories with their pet's faces

July luggage strengthens personalisation offering with the launch of Pets

Fast-growing Australian direct-to-consumer brand July has today launched ‘Petsonalisation’, a world first, allowing customers to personalise luggage and accessories with their pet's faces.

July launched in early 2019 with a singular suitcase, the Carry On, and now offers a suite of beautiful travel products, from luggage and soft bags to accessories. Pets personalisation will be offered for up to two pets per product on all July luggage and accessories. A$25 for accessories, A$65 for luggage.

Founders Athan Didaskalou and Richard Li say that they wanted to create a way for their customers to take their pets on their holidays.

“People love their pets, and often pets are the ones you leave behind when you’re off travelling. We wanted to create a way for all travellers to be able to take their pets with them, no matter the journey”, said Li.

Customers upload a photo of their pet(s), July will then get it illustrated, and then personalise your luggage, tags, tech kits, drink bottles, or travel notebooks with the face of your pet!

“Our personalisation offering has always been unique. We know that for something to be truly personal the offering needed to be diverse and inclusive. Multiple fonts, colours, emojis, and languages. In a world-first I am excited to extend our personalisation service once more to include the most lovable beings in people’s lives, their pets.”, said Didaskalou.

“We’re a customer-centric business and our products are derived from what people want, with over 50% of orders already opting for personalisation. Your suitcase stands out even more on a luggage carousel and is less likely to be mistaken for someone else’s bag when it’s got your initials on it. A lot of people would love to be able to take their dog or cat on holiday with them, but with cost and customs, that’s just not an option. We like to think this is our way of enabling our customers to bring their pets on their travel adventures,”.

Personalisation has been a staple of July’s offering since 2019. For text, customers can personalise up to five characters with ten different font styles and 19 colours to choose from, even adding emojis. July is also the only company in the Australian luggage market - and one of the only luggage companies in the world - to offer personalised Chinese characters and additional Latin based languages such as French and Spanish for monogramming.

July bags are regularly seen on the arms of personalities like Chrissy Teigen, Celeste Barber and Apple Martin, and as the official luggage partner of the Olympics and Commonwealth Games, the Australian brand is reaching new heights every day.

July offers free shipping over $100 to Australia and the United States, with global shipping available.
