Bikes made with the most important ingredient: fun.

With the introduction of Raleigh Bicycles’ new line, fun and adventure can be found anywhere, from the open road to the dirt to the city streets to the ‘cross course.

“For model year 2016, we had two guiding principles: ‘Does it make it more fun?’ and ‘Does it enable and inspire a great start on a bike?’” said Larry Pizzi, Raleigh’s senior VP of sales and marketing. “Our goal is to inspire the nation to choose our bikes by delivering product and a brand experience for everyone made with the most important ingredient: fun.”

2016 Highlights:

Road and all-road:

Merit 3 (MSRP: $1,400) - New for 2016, the versatile and comfortable Merit 3 is built for long days in the saddle in varying road conditions. The lightweight 6061 aluminum frame is equipped with 28c tires, disc brakes, 142x12 thru-axle, and an anti-shock stem and seatpost that reduces fatigue and increases all-day fun. Hidden mounts for rack and fenders.

Revere 3 (MSRP: $1,400) - New for 2016, the versatile and comfortable women-specific Revere 3 is built for long days in the saddle in varying road conditions. The lightweight 6061 aluminum frame is equipped with 28c tires, disc brakes, 142x12 thru-axle, and an anti-shock stem and seatpost that reduces fatigue and increases all-day fun. Grand Vitesse (MSRP: $2,499.99)-A modern take on the original road bike. Reynolds 853 steel is light, compliant, and will last for years beyond its counterparts. With thoughtful details like hidden fender mounts, the Grand Vitesse will easily become your favorite ride.

Tamland 2 (MSRP: $2,399.99)- The first bike in Raleigh’s all-road line, the Tamland 2 is designed for the cyclist who doesn’t want to be bound by paved roads, but also wants to be able to keep up with friends on weekend road rides. An eleven-speed drivetrain, TRP mechanical brakes and tubeless ready wheels work together to provide a fast ride that takes you to gravel and beyond.

Grand Prix (MSRP: $2,299.99) - The perfect bike for the wanderlust cyclist, the Grand Prix is designed with a Ritchey Break-Away system for easy travel and storage. Travel case included.

Prim (MSRP: $549.99)-The Prim is all about pure, relaxed comfort and the big, big views these rides create. Designed with women-specific geometry and a step through steel frame, the Prim has a three-speed internal geared hub and custom rack and fenders, making it the perfect bike for commuting to work and trips to the Farmer’s Market on the weekend.

Redux 3 (MSRP: $950) - Downtown? Across town? Off road? It's all possible with the all-new Redux 3, which couples rugged, aggressive urban geometry and disc brakes with wider street tires to tame all elements. 1x10 drivetrain, massive Schwalbe Big Ben 2.0 semi slicks in a 27.5 package, room for fenders, and a color-popping lightweight fork. Suggested Retail Price: $949.99

Misceo iE (MSRP: $3,000) - From quiet towns to big cities, the Misceo iE eBike is the ultimate ride. The technology of the Shimano STePS system allows for pedal-assistance up to 20 miles per hour and an integrated mid-motor drive system yields a reliable and waterproof design that automatically downshifts when stopped for an easy start. Full release HERE.

Alysa 1 (MSRP: $399.99) - For fitness and fun, the Alysa 1 is designed with women-specific geometry and components. Flat handlebars provide excellent control, and a seven-speed drivetrain with Kendra Kwick tires gets the cyclist to her destination, fast, and allows her to enjoy the ride.

Cyclocross:

RX 2.0 (MSRP: $1,799.99) - Coming in at under $2,000, the RX 2.0 is an excellent bike for riders looking for an awesome cyclocross steed while keeping budget in mind. It’s all the benefits of Raleigh’s top of the line carbo, in a lightweight aluminum chassis. Thru-axles, carbon fork, and a SRAM 1x drivetrain are all begging to search out mud and adventure.

RXS (MSRP: $1,549.99) -With a Gates Belt Drive, it’s minimal maintenance (no lube, no worries) and maximum enjoyment as a single-speed ‘cross machine or weekday commuter. Thru-Axles? Yup. SS Hydraulic Disc Brakes? Yup. Tubeless ready? Yup. Fun? Yup!

RXW Elite (MSRP: $2,749.99) - The result of Raleigh’s dedication to creating ‘cross bikes for women, the 18.2 pound RXW Elite is the only women’s-specific carbon cyclocross bike available. It’s the perfect (super light!) bike for the serious cyclocross racer.

Mountain:

Skarn Expert (MSRP: $3,799.99)- Raleigh’s carbon full suspension mountain bike encourages riders to attack hills and bomb descents previously left for another day. Spec’d with a Shimano 2x10 drivetrain, tubeless-ready rims, and internal routing for optional Di2 or dropper post set-up.

Tokul 3 (MSRP: $1,099.99) - A playful bike excellent for a new mountain biker. Designed on a 27.5 aluminum frame, the hardtail Tokul 3 utilizes a 120mm front fork with lockout to make the transition from climbing to descending easier. 27.5 tires and tubeless ready, the Tokul 3 will evolve with the rider.
