Affäre hosts 2nd annual Synergy Month during August to benefit Synergy Services

Affäre to sell Synergy Services’ youth artwork and offer a special 3-course dinner menu created by Chef Martin Heuser to raise donations for the charity during August

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (August 3, 2015) – For the second consecutive year, Affäre will partner with Synergy Services during the month of August and raise funds for the local charity to help with its mission and cause. Affäre will display works created by youth artists at Synergy Services throughout the restaurant and all will be available for purchase. All proceeds from the artwork sales will be provided to Synergy Services.

In addition to the artwork, Chef Martin Heuser has created a special three-course “Synergy Dinner Menu.” The menu is now available through August 31 during dinner for $44. Ten percent of menu sales will be donated to Synergy Services.

The “Synergy Dinner Menu” features the following items:

First Course

Garden greens, forage herbs

Watercress vinaigrette, edible dirt

Heirloom tomatoes, rhubarb gelée

Parmesan crisps

Second Course

Shrimp & scallops

Squid ink angel hair pasta

Red pepper-coriander coulis

or

Smoked bison ribeye

Sherry smoked onion cream sauce

Ratatouille, pretzel dumpling

Third Course

Blueberry compote

Corn sponge cake

Blueberry basil sorbet

Cornmeal crumble
