Ballet Wyoming is proud to participate in the Boys & Girls Club of Cheyenne's big event on Friday, October 2nd, 2015 at Little America, Dancing with the Stars of Cheyenne. This event will feature performances by local celebrity dancers and their paired professional dancer. Ballet Wyoming is participating in this great event by offering their expertise and skilled dancers. Professional dancers of Ballet Wyoming are training their celebrity dancers and choreographing their extraordinary performances. The dancing couples will then debut their hard work the evening of the event.

Celebrity Dancers Include:

  • Brenda Creel, Principal of Alta Vista Elementary School
  • Troy Thompson, County Commissioner
  • Anthony Keith, KGWN News Channel 5 Anchor/Producer
  • Rita Meyer, Rocky Mountain Power Vice President & Former Wyoming State Auditor
  • Darin Westby, 2015 Cheyenne Frontier Days Chairman
  • Mike Achacoso, VP & Refinery Manager, HollyFrontier Corporation, Frontier Refining LLC

Ballet Wyoming Dancers Include:

  • Kathy Vreeland, Artistic Director
  • Heather Hardgrave, Soloist
  • Tenacity Bricher-Wade, Soloist
  • Jonathan Hedger, Soloist

Leading up to this event the professional Ballet Wyoming dancers are eager to be engaged in this event which benefits the Boys & Girls Club of Cheyenne. Jonathan Hedger, Ballet Wyoming professional company dancer, stated why he is eager to support this amazing organization, "Having a stable and caring community of people around ourselves is important to any individual, but especially so to the developing minds and emotions of our community’s youth. Many of the children who attend the club receive the care and attention that they may otherwise have miss. We are investing in our own futures by providing these facilities to the next generations of our city, nation, and world."

Ballet Wyoming is proud to be providing professional dancers for this special fundraising event along with Dance Spirit Dance Studio. Being actively involved in a community event focused on benefiting the youth of Cheyenne is truly inspiring and Ballet Wyoming is sincerely appreciative of the opportunity to be a part of all of the excitement.
