Chris Duncan recently hit two Amazon best-seller lists with the new book, “UNcommon”

Frisco, TX – July 20, 2015 – Founder of Musical Arts Schoolhouse, Chris Duncan, recently joined Brian Tracy and a select group of business leaders from around the world to co-author the book titled “Uncommon.” The book was released on June 11, 2015 by CelebrityPress™ - a leading business book publisher.

On the day of release, UNCommon reached best-seller status in two Amazon categories - reaching as high as #16 in: “Sales and Selling.” The book also reached best-seller status in the “Marketing” category. Chris Duncan contributed a chapter titled “Well, That Didn’t Work… Now What?”

Chris Duncan has loved playing the piano on the very first day her fingers first touched those ivory keys, and she knew that she wanted to be a teacher and help others embrace exploring their gifts through learning.  Piano and education were a natural fit and one that inspired her to obtain her B.A. degree in Piano Pedagogy and Music Theory from Michigan State University in 1978.  In 1997 she also obtained the highest level of certification that can be achieved with the Early Childhood Music and Movement Association.

It was through some ups and downs with her own children that Chris realized how different all children are with their motivation to learn to play the piano and other types of music.  It led to some innovative thinking on how to inspire them and develop their skills and interests.  This was the foundation for her thinking when she opened up the Frisco School of Music in 2000, offering group and private music lessons for many instruments and to children of all ages and levels.  She also offered Rock Band School and pre-ballet dance classes.

In 2009, Chris and her business partner Steve South, founded Musical Arts Schoolhouse.  This program has really become the foundation and signature of all Chris’s achievements in the performing arts and her natural love of everything associated with it.  What makes this school unique is that it caters to children ages 3 through 6 with private Kindergarten.

CelebrityPress™ describes the book:

“Common" can be defined as ordinary while "uncommon" suggests rarity. However, combining Common Sense with Uncommon Knowledge has the potential to produce winners.

While Common Sense has been noted to be in short supply and Uncommon Knowledge hard to come by, the Celebrity Experts® in this book have combined the two to produce high rates of success in their fields. If you are looking to accomplish personal, worthy goals, a helping hand will get you there faster. In addition, a mentor will invariably get you there at less cost than if you try to make your own way, helping you to avoid errors that may be time-consuming or costly, or both. Succeeding requires the attributes of hard work, sound planning, action and perseverance-while combining common sense and uncommon knowledge as a part of the process.

This book presents a panel of CelebrityExperts® including: Financial Consultants, Wealth Managers, Retirement, Investment and Health Specialists, Realtors®, Marketers, Coaches and other entrepreneurial specialists. They have all attained success in their fields and would be pleased to mentor you on your journey to attain your goal(s). You need not be alone... You see, in life, lots of people know what to do, but few people actually do what they know. Knowing is not enough! You must take action.

After such a successful release, Chris Duncan will be recognized by The National Academy of Best-Selling Authors™, an organization that honors authors from many of the leading independent best-seller lists.
