MyTopo Launches New Aerial Imagery for Custom Printed Maps

July 16, 2015 (Billings, Mont.) – MyTopo, producers of custom printed maps, today announced new high-resolution aerial images for 25 states. Create a custom aerial image of your house, cabin, ranch, or favorite park.

The new imagery is available for California, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, North Dakota, New Hampshire, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Hang the aerial map prints on a wall or use them in the field. Customers can order aerial maps online in five sizes ranging from 18” x 24” to 5’ x 8’ with glossy, waterproof, and laminate paper options. Aerial imagery can be printed in 12 different zoom levels, covering as little as 0.4 square miles to almost 4,000 square miles.

To see the new imagery, select Standard Aerial during the custom map creation process. MyTopo also provides several map overlay options to add onto aerial images, including color-coded public lands, private property lines, and private landowner details. Maps are printed and shipped within 48 hours.

The new one-meter resolution imagery comes from U.S. Department of Agriculture and is collected during the summer results for mostly leaf-on foliage images. MyTopo processes the aerial images and stitches them together, allowing customers to order a seamless aerial print.
