Also Appears in John Asher’s New Inspiring Autism Drama ‘PO’

LOS ANGELES (April 20, 2016) – Actress TAMMY DAHLSTROM heads to the quirky tech world created by Mike Judge in a recurring role on HBO’s critically-acclaimed comedy series, SILICON VALLEY, beginning May 1st.

Kicking-off Season Three on April 24th, the Pied Piper team picks up right where they left off and Richard (Thomas Middleditch) is out as CEO. Instead a more experienced - and older - leader ‘Action Jack’ Barker (Stephen Tobolowsky) and his trusted team are brought in, including his steadfast assistant Gloria (Dahlstrom). Incubator partner Erlich (T.J. Miller) feels extremely snubbed and there are plenty of shenanigans in store from the startup genius team (Martin Starr, Kumail Nanjiani and Zach Woods) as they attempt to keep the company they built intact.

Dahlstrom was thrilled at the opportunity to join SILICON VALLEY, adding “I think Mike (Judge) was shocked to learn that I’m a huge fan of the show because I don’t think I’m their target demographic – being that I’m over 35 and female. But, why wouldn’t I be?! It’s such a smartly written and brilliantly acted comedy. They really are a group of geniuses. So, now to be part of that -- is just terrific.”

On the big screen, Dahlstrom currently appears in a pivotal supporting role in director John Asher’s new inspiring autism drama, PO. The film premiered on the festival circuit earlier this month, winning ‘Best Feature Film’ in Palm Beach and ‘Jury Award for Best Feature Film’ at WorldFest-Houston. PO stars Christopher Gorham (Covert Affairs) as David, a recently widowed man who must learn to cope with raising his young autistic son, Po, played by rising star Julian Feder (Weiner Dog franchise). Actress Kaitlin Doubleday (Empire) also steps-in as a caring therapist, finding an important place in both their lives; while Dahlstrom joins in the storyline as insurance administrator Patricia Gilliam, going head-to-head with David when his coverage gets cut-off.

Dahlstrom has been building her career by taking supporting roles to a whole new level and has quickly becoming a sought-after character actress. Most recently, she appeared in the series finale of the critically successful HBO series, TOGETHERNESS.  Her notable television appearances also include roles on THE MIDDLE, CRIMINAL MINDS, HOUSE OF LIES, GREY’S ANATOMY, CRIMINAL MINDS: SUSPECT BEHAVIOR, HOUSE M.D., and MONK. She’s appeared in numerous indie films, including Dave Barry’s COMPLETE GUIDE TO GUYS, EM and STRAIGHT-JACKET. This Arcadia, California native got her start as a commercial kid at the age of three when she was on the box of Kellogg’s Corn Flakes and starred in the commercial. The strawberry-blonde found continued success in commercials and has appeared in over 100 national and regional spots to date.

Tammy Dahlstrom is represented by Avalon Artists Agency.
