- Written by Pitch Engine
Also in GROUNDWORK at The Hollywood Fringe Festival beginning June 4th
From veteran creator Dan Schneider, HENRY DANGER follows 13-year-old boy Henry Hart (Jace Norman) as the secret sidekick to Captain Man (Cooper Barnes) as they battle rogue villains. Ostroski first appeared as evil scientist Dr. Minyak during the show’s first season. A spoof on Superman’s antihero Lex Luthor, Dr. Minyak is the only character who knows Captain Man’s weakness. This knowledge keeps Dr. Minyak in constant battle with our heroes throughout the show. His mischievous tactics have included stripping Captain Man of his powers and blasting Kid Danger with a dream beam.
Now in Season Two, Ostroski steps back into the action as Dr. Minyak, delivering even more devious shenanigans on the April 23rd episode titled “Grave Danger” and then “Ox Pox” on April 30th.
Ostroski is excited to return to this kid-focused action-comedy, adding, “The creators, cast, and crew of HENRY DANGER are amazing. I feel so lucky to be a part of the second season of such a great show – and thrilled for them to begin their third season this year!”
Beginning on June 4th, Ostroski will continue sowing seeds of change on stage with seven special performances of his innovative one-man show, Groundwork, at The Hollywood Fringe Festival. He has earned high praise around the country for this original theatrical journey through gardening, climate change, and the search for self, armed with only a few seed packets, a banjo, and his plentiful talents.
Coming soon, Ostroski will hit the big screen in Ric Roman Waugh’s (Snitch, Felon) new action-drama, Shot Caller, starring Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Game of Thrones), Jon Bernthal and Lake Bell and produced by Bold Films.
An Ohio native, Ostroski has built a solid reputation in the entertainment industry. His credits also include television roles on Breaking Bad, Criminal Minds and The Muppets; and numerous indie films, including Those Who Wait, Bad Service and A God Fearin’ Man. Before making his move to Hollywood, Ostroski was a long-time member of The Barter Theatre’s Equity Resident Acting Company, performing in over 75 productions. He studied abroad at both Cambridge University and London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
Mike Ostroski is represented by Terrie Marroquin of TLynn Talent Management (Los Angeles), Linda McAlister of Linda McAlister Talent (Los Angeles) and The Jim Flynn Agency (New York).
