American Sentinel University and Colorado Hospital Association Name Swedish Medical Center #Nurse as March Colorado Health Care Star

– Award Recognizes Katie Torrance at Swedish Medical Center as a Nursing Professional Making a Difference in Health Care Today –

AURORA, Colo. – April 8, 2016 – American Sentinel University and the Colorado Hospital Association (CHA) named Katie Torrance, RN, at the HealthONE Swedish Medical Center located in Englewood, Colo., as the March Colorado Health Care Stars Award winner. This award recognizes Torrance as an exceptional health care professional.

Colorado Health Care Stars is a statewide health care professional award recognition program sponsored by American Sentinel University and CHA. The program was launched in February 2015 to acknowledge clinical professionals in Colorado who exceed expectations in the delivery of health care.

Torrance, a member of the Cath/EP Lab at the Swedish Medical Center routinely goes above and beyond her role as an RN to ensure that every patient in the Cath Lab receives comprehensive, compassionate care.
