On Sun., April 10, Hattie Larlham will host a free open house and job fair for the community. The event is from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Hattie Larlham Center for Children with Disabilities at 9772 Diagonal in Mantua, Ohio.

Guests can tour the facility and enjoy a pierogi bar, salad and jarred product samples provided by Hattie’s Café and Gifts. This event is a great opportunity to learn more about new programs for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Information on volunteer opportunities, upcoming events and ways to support Hattie Larlham will be available. 

Hattie Larlham employs people to fulfill its mission of caring for children and adults with disabilities. Job seekers are encouraged to attend for on-site interviews with a Hattie Larlham recruiter.

This year, Hattie Larlham welcomes back guest author, R. C. Larlham, son of Hattie and Richard Larlham. He will sign copies of his books, “The Old Man & Me” and “The Old Man & Me: Stories I Didn’t Get To Tell You the First Time.” Larlham’s books will also be for sale. All proceeds from the book sales benefit Hattie Larlham.

Established in 1961, Hattie Larlham is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Twinsburg, Ohio. The organization provides residential, medical, recreational and work training services to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Association for the Developmentally Disabled (ADD), a Hattie Larlham agency, offers these services in central Ohio.
