Sandy, Utah (March 31, 2016) —Reynolds Cycling is expanding its sponsorship of mountain bike race teams. They will continue sponsoring the downhill team of Bernard Kerr, Eliot Jackson, and Emilie Siegenthaler and add an enduro team for 2016.

Over the past two years, the downhill program has provided Reynolds engineers valuable feedback in the process of developing and refining the latest line of Blacklabel mountain wheels. The carbon rims spec’d on this year’s Blacklabel 27.5 Enduro wheels are the same rims that have been tested and proven by the team on the World Cup Downhill circuit.

“Eliot, Emilie, and Bernard have been a crucial piece of the puzzle in our development of the current Blacklabel line. They race the 27.5 Enduro rim on their downhill bikes at World Cups – that should be testament to the strength and durability of our carbon rims,” said Billy Demong, Reynolds Cycling Marketing Manager.

Reynolds will also co-title sponsor the Pivot/Reynolds Enduro Team, comprised of Adam Snyder (Durango, CO), Mason Bond (Grass Valley, CA) and Brice Shirbach (Brookhaven, PA). The team will be competing at Enduro World Series and North American Enduro Tour events, as well as the Dirty Sanchez, Big Mountain Enduro and North American Crankworx races.

On the Pivot/Reynolds Enduro Team Demong added, “Taking stock of what really matters to those who live to push the limits on a mountain bike, ride quality and durability, we are supplying the team with wheels from our new Blacklabel lineup. They will race on our new Blacklabel 27.5 Enduro and 29 Enduro wheels featuring  28mm wide, hookless and asymmetric carbon rims laced to our Reynolds straight pull, center lock hubs by Industry Nine.  The rim construction and wheel build are targeted to yield the best overall ride quality with unmatched durability. These guys can charge with confidence.”
