Haibike Partners with Adventurer Susanne Brüsch For e-Bike Tour of Western USA

Simi Valley, Calif. (March 31, 2016) – Haibike, the pioneering German electric bike brand, has teamed up with e-bike adventurer and Pedelec Adventures leader, Susanne Brüsch, to showcase the latest Haibike ePerformance line during the 2016 Sand to Snow Tour.

The Sand to Snow Tour—a 10-week, 2,000-mile, e-bike traverse of the western United States—aims to demonstrate the benefits and versatility of Haibike ePerformance bikes for mobility and endurance. The tour will kick-off at the Sea Otter Classic in Monterey, California, on April 15 and conclude at the E-Bike Expo in Denver, in June.

Brüsch, the pioneer behind Pedelec Adventures, is a renowned journalist, photographer and experienced e-bike adventurer. She is well known across Europe for her epic e-bike traverses of Africa, Mongolia, and Iceland.

During the Sand to Snow Tour, Brüsch's team will be riding a variety of e-bikes from Haibike’s high-value SDURO line that features industry-exclusive Yamaha motors. Brüsch and her team will be exploring diverse eco-regions with most contrasting climate and riding conditions across the west in order to highlight the versatility and accessibility that Haibike ePerformance bikes offer to both endurance and lifestyle cyclists.
