He found that he was able to parlay his understanding of what’s important to families, their needs, concerns and the issues that matter most in their lives into his financial practice.

He can trace his lifelong desire to help people and be actively involved in serving the community to his upbringing by his father, a rabbi, and mother, a teacher. The move turned out to be a great success. Everything became more personal for him after a brain hemorrhage in early 2007, at the age of 47. That night in the hospital, he assured his wife Lori Beth the life insurance he had would be there to protect her financially. Years later, that priceless moment translates to Schlinsky’s need to ensure that his clients are as well prepared as he was for an unexpected health crisis.
