Guy A. Fortt aka the Fearless At 50 Guy, will be attending the White House 2nd Anniversary Celebration of President Obama’s My Brother’s Keeper Initiative. As the official Community Leader from Stamford, CT in this initiative, attendees include White House Senior Administration Officials, Federal Agencies, Private Sector and Community Leaders nationally recognized stakeholders in the MBK program.

Guy A. Fortt has been a dedicated community service minded individual that has been working to improve the lives of many Stamford children through his ForttSports programs.  Through his many initiatives of mentoring young men and women with his NY vs NE 7 on 7 Football Challenge, the Khairi Fortt Foundation and Mill River Productions, Mr. Fortt has been a dedicated community leader in the betterment of young lives in the City of Stamford.  The fundamental basis for each of his community initiatives is “saving lives, changing lives for all youth.”

About Guy Fortt

Guy Fortt, a seasoned theater presence who studied at Shaw University in Raleigh, NC, has been featured on Broadway in Oprah Winfrey’s The Color Purple. For years he has brought his unique flavor to an impressive variety of roles in New York City and Connecticut, commanding the stage in productions of Charles H. Fullers A Soldiers Play, August Wilson's Seven Guitars, and Tennessee Williams A Streetcar Named Desire among others. 

In Hollywood, Guy holds his own working alongside the film industry’s best in such projects as Director David Frankel's The Devil Wears Prada starring Meryl Streep; director Sydney Pollack’s The Interpreter, and Don’t Nobody Love the Game More Than Me, directed by Martha Pinson and winner of the Toronto Online Film Award. 

In addition to his stage and cinema work, Fortt has also found success in television having appeared on diverse shows including Law & Order SVU, Netflix's Jessica Jones, and Saturday Night Live. He's a sought after motivational speaker and provides youth sports mentorship through his company ForttSports,LLC.
