(Las Vegas) – Grand Canyon Development Partners, a Las Vegas-based construction and real estate development management company, has appointed April Chapman to the position of project manager. In her new role, Chapman will be responsible for analyzing and resolving field construction problems and is the project manager for the upcoming SLS Las Vegas conversion into the W Hotel.

With more than 10 years of project management and design engineering experience under her belt, Chapman’s experience in engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) spans over multiple areas, including construction, life science, energy and chemicals, and mining and metals. Chapman earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from California State University, Fullerton.

Before joining the Grand Canyon Development team, Chapman worked as a Project Manager at Ernst and Young in their Construction Real Estate Advisory Services division where she practiced an industry-focused approach with a worldwide reach helping clients manage risk, improve performance and sustain the results required for successful projects.
