Six options for less than $10 featured on small plate menu

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Feb. 5, 2016) – Shortly after participating in its first Kansas City Restaurant Week, the Kauffman Center Dining Experience introduces a new small plate menu for both patrons and the public to share or enjoy individually. The small plate menu, created by Executive Chef Philippe Lechevin, features six options for less than $10.

The small plate menu was created to cater to those who are interested in enjoying the Dining Experience at the Kauffman Center either before a show, or for a casual evening in Kansas City’s most unique dining venue. In addition to the regular menu, the small plates menu is available every night the Kauffman Center Dining Experience is open. The Dining Experience is open to both the public and patrons two hours before most of the 300 annual shows at the Kauffman Center for Performing Arts.

Kauffman Center Dining Experience Small Plate Menu

KC Spicy Nuts- $5

Hummus and Naan Bread- $6

Smoked Salmon Plate- $9

Accompanied by toast, arugula salad, shaved red onion, capers and horseradish cream cheese spread

Artisan Cheese Plate- $9Buttermilk Blue Affinee, Red Spruce 4 years aged cheddar, Mezzaluna Fontina, Vintage Van Gogh Gouda and Gruyere, served with baguette bread and smoked honey

Charcuterie Plate- $9

Black forest prosciutto, saucisson sec, salami, capicola, fig mustard and cornichon pickle, served with baguette bread 

Antipasto Plate- $9

Assorted artisan cheese and charcuterie, roasted Kalamata olives and hummus, served with baguette bread

About Kauffman Center Dining ExperienceThe Dining Experience at Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts offers guests gourmet meals freshly prepared by Executive Chef Philippe Lechevin and served in the comfortable and sophisticated Founders’ Lounge. Located just within the south doors of the Kauffman Center, the Founders’ Lounge offers guests a sweeping view of Kansas City in a sleek and sophisticated atmosphere. The Founders’ Lounge opens two hours prior to curtain time for evening performances at the Center, and serves all visitors and performance patrons.
