(Concord, MASS) Vibram the world wide leader in high performance soles and alternative footwear has unveiled its latest footwear product, the winter Furoshiki Shearling boot.
Earlier this year Vibram released the regular Furoshiki wrapping shoe. This original footwear concept was derived from the Japanese custom of packaging items by wrapping them in fabric cloth. Furoshiki is the only shoe on the market that wraps around the entire foot. Powered by Vibram's revolutionary soling technology, Furoshiki provides comfort and grip in any environment.

The winter Furoshiki Shearling boot is the latest addition to the Furoshiki line. These shearling lined boots provide added comfort and warmth to the wrapping shoe concept, offering a luxurious, snug fit for everything from hanging out indoors to traveling in winter elements. The Furoshiki boot lets you escape traditional bulky winter boots without compromising warmth or grip. These boots feature Vibram's trademark ECOSTEP outsole, as well as a synthetic upper cuff. The shearling lining provides an added softness and comfort against the leg and the hook and loop closures help to provide the proper fit for anyone.

The Furoshiki boot comes in two models, mid and long cut. The mid cut boot runs about half way up the calf while the long boot cuff runs up to just below the knee cap. The mid cuff model is priced at $120 and the long boot is priced at $135 USD.

The Furoshiki sizing runs XS-XL and fits as follows (European sizing).

XS: 36-37

SM: 38-39

M: 40-41

L: 42-43

XL: 44-45

Vibram is recognized worldwide as the leader in high performance soles for outdoor, recreational, work and fashion footwear and is relied on by the world’s greatest climbers and athletes. Vibram soles have gone on to conquer Mt. Everest, K2 and a host of the world’s tallest peaks. Today, the company works with premium brands including Danner, La Sportiva, Low, Merrell, Red Wing, Scarpa, The North Face, and many more. Vibram’s Five Finger shoe line is on the cutting-edge of the minimalist footwear trend. Visit Vibram.com for more info.
