7 Dec - Photo Exhibition "Flying Away"

For the second time this year, Alliance Francaise Dubai and Antidote, are pleased to present “Flying away” a Photography exhibition by French artitsts Antoine Grospiron-Jaccoux and Severine Blanchet, at Alliance Francaise Dubai, Oud Metha, from December 7st to 31th 2015.

The works selected for this show explore the poetic approach of traveling in an old-style manner, without a defined plan and with a sens of discovery and respect for new found places. With this approach to travel, consciously or not there is a real break with usual life, where everything is fast, carefully planned and bombarded with expectations. These travels take us to think how life is led, what we stand for and where to go next. Both artists take a traditional approach too to capture those sights, sometimes using vintage Leica camera.
