Gambling in Belgium regardless of the platform is governed and operated by the Belgian Gaming Commission. They carry a list of blacklisted gambling sites and they demand fines when get caught. Remote gaming sites or casinos in Belgium operating without abiding by the rules of the commission will face consequences.

Fines and Licences in Belgium

Online licenses should be 9 A+ for casinos licences, 180 B+ for arcades, and 34 F1+ licences for wagers. Companies hold a “real world” casino should obtain A, B or F1 licence if they want to offer online services. The law states that there is no disparity between an online and offline casino.

Fines go up to 100,000 Euros will be fined against companies breaking the law of the commission. Individual websites are fined up to 25,000 EUROS if they use unlicensed websites. But, on the brighter note, these are very rare cases since it is almost impossible for Belgians to access to any unlicensed websites.
