Caringbah’s vision for it’s medical precinct is coming to fruition with a new development combining first class residential accommodation with a Medical Centre on the ground and first floor about to start construction.

The Hinkler Medical Centre which is due for practical completion in mid to late 2019 is currently sourcing an anchor tenant along with several specialists.

Gunning Real Estate Associate Director James McKenny said the development was an exciting opportunity for a range of medical practitioners to come together under one roof.

“Small to larger practices can benefit from being in the medical precinct which is just a stone’s throw away from Sutherland Hospital and Kareena Private Hospital on the southern side of Kingsway,” Mr McKenny said.

The Caringbah Medical Precinct was established in 2015 after consultation with relevant stakeholders and the local community and allows bonus building heights and floor space ratios for developments which combine health facilities and apartments.

“When first announced it was estimated some 415 new dwellings and many new jobs would be created. Now in place it is helping to meet the needs of the Sutherland Shire’s growing and aging population.

“There are many options for prospective tenants for the Hinkler Medical Centre at 416-422 Kingsway, Caringbah. They can choose to lease the suites from a raw finish to fully fitted purpose built.

“Most suites take full advantage of a North-facing aspect, and main road exposure with the building’s wide open frontage maximising natural light.

“Above the centre sits 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments and stunning penthouses which have panoramic water and city views,” Mr McKenny said.

The Hinkler Medical Centre and apartments are owned and developed by E-con Group, responsible for several high quality developments in Sydney.
